Yahoo Launches Shine – Website for Women
There’s no denying the sheer power of women. Nowhere is this more evident than with Yahoo’s announcement of Shine, a new site from the Internet (but ailing) giant that is geared to the better half :). It’s the first time Yahoo has ventured into a gender specific property, until now choosing to go with sites based on activities or interests. But now the amazing popularity of the Internet with women and girls has made everyone take notice. Even the giants. About time. The 40 million women between the ages of 25 and 54 who use Yahoo can attest to that.
